Santa Is A Lie

Santa Clause

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Santa is a lie. Before you chop off my head, let me ask you a few questions.

Who is the giver of all good gifts? 'Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.' James 1:17

Who is the One whose hair is white as snow? 'The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.' Rev 1:14

Who is the One who was a carpenter?  'Isn't this the carpenter?' Mark 6:3

Who is He who rides across the sky? 'There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides across the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty.' Deut 33:26

Who are children to believe in? 'And many in that place believed in Jesus' John 10:42

Who says, 'Ho, Ho!'? 'Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.' Zechariah 2:6

Who loves the little children? 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.' Luke 18:16

Who do you ask for the things on your heart? 'Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.' (Luke 11:9)  'Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.' Psalm 37:4

Who knows if you've been naughty or nice? 'You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.'(Psalm 139:3)

Who comes out of the north? 'Yet out of the north He comes, shrouded in a golden glow; awesome majesty surrounds Him.' Job 37:22

You'd better not pout, you better not cry is teaching the fear of...Santa? 'Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.' Psalm 34:11

Who are we to give an account of our choices to? Santa? 'So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.' Romans 14:12

Who has a book with the deeds of mankind written therein and who issues judgement accordingly? 'And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.' Revelation 20:12

Who sits on a throne? "'When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne' Matthew 25:31

But we're to have Christmas spirit, right? 'I will pour out my Spirit on all people' Joel 2:28

Whose garments were red? 'Why are your garments red, like those of one treading the winepress?' Isaiah 63:2

Whose feet are as if in a chimney? 'His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.'

I don't wish to quote occult encyclopedias and such, but I can tell you that elves are generally regarded, throughout the world, as demonic creatures. Because they're painted as cute and fun-loving makes no difference.

There is an imposter who wishes to be like God the most High. We all know who that is. Instead of bringing our kids to Santa this Christmas, why not bring them to Jesus? Share the story of the manger, the wise men, and the story of Mary and Joseph with them. Give them gifts, but most of all give them the gift of Jesus.

Merry Christmas every from Life Inside The House On The Rock.

Love how you used Scripture to point us back to Jesus. Thanks for linkup! Just curious, did you know it's set for only 10 entries?
Thank you Rosa. Your post is very courageous and educational. Thanks for the listings of all the bible verses. I suggest changing the title to "Santa is a Fable". (Saint Nicholas is, was and will always be real.) As you know, Aesop's fables can be used to convey very helpful life lessons and then again, animals do not speak. Glory to God, Thomas
